How can i use extra virgin olive oil on my african american hair?

i have short hair that wont grow and i was wondering if i put olive oil on my hair before i wash it and after when it is wet. will it hurt my hair? what is the best way to use it?How can i use extra virgin olive oil on my african american hair?

I would be wary but in small quantities it can give a great shine to hair and cure very dry hair but really you would be better witha specific product.How can i use extra virgin olive oil on my african american hair?
Olive oil is wonderful for your hair it moisturizes, nourishes, and protects the hair. Just don't use too much or your hair will be too oily. Also try putting in a leave in conditioner b4 you apply the oil after washing, and leave it on for at least and hour as a pre-poo treatment.
it probably isnt good, (im mixed) and i wouldnt try it. There is some stuff, that is grease, and hair grower and strenghtner. it works. i found it at dollar general. And wait till ur hair is dry to put stuff in it
