i have thick african american hair and i wanted to know if curl activator will make my hair curly.Does curl activator work on natural african american hair?

sometimes it will but gel works best- yeah, i know, it'll just be sticky and flaky but it really depends on the brand.
I believe you would need to get a texturizer first and then use the curl activator unless you have the hair texture that most people call good hair. Then yeah you can use the curl activator. Truthfully the curl activator was made for the Jerry Curl/Wave Nouvea Era. You really suppose to rod your hair and then add the curl activator.
