What is the best hair growth product for African American hair?

Will it work and how quick will it take to grow like 1 extra inch of hair. What is the best hair growth product for African American hair?
Hello girlie.I'm an Ethiopian-American and I have researched all the boards on growing AA hair and this is what works for me and most:

1. The biggest: DO NOT USE HEAT OR CHEMICALS (Perm, Relaxer, Texturizer, etc.) FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS

Follow all these steps and you will see hair growth:

1) Exercise and eat healthy/ drink lots of water

2) Take the supplement/vitamin BIOTIN, it promotes healthy hair, skin, nails and metabolism. I recommend this as an addition to all the other steps, not the Sole fix. It can be found at almost every drugstore:

3) Wash your hair once a week with your favorite shampoo and conditioner. I recommend garnier length and strength shampoo:

And NEXXUS conditioner:

(It's cheaper when you buy it at wholesale, COSTCO, Sam's Club, etc.)

4) Oil your hair once a week (usually the day futherest from your weekly wash ex. wash Saturday, oil Wednesday) You can use avocado oil, olive oil or coconut oil (my favorite.)

5) Deep condition once a week when extremely dry or twice a month regularly

My fave deep conditioner is Organic Root Stimulator's Replinishing Pack. AMAZING! You just apply and comb through hair and put on a shower cap for 45 minutes to an hour and your hair will feel so soft and moisturized! Once again, you can find it any any drug store:

6) THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT:

TRIM EVERY 5-8 WEEKS. If you think that your stylist is scissor-happy, make a family member who knows how to cut hair trim your hair to ensure that they will just trim your hair and not cut it. (Trust me I have had bad experiences with hair cutters in the salon.) This is important because it cuts of the dead ends/ split ends.

7) Remember, you won't see a dramatic change until 2-3 months. Hair grows 1/2-1 inch every month depending on its health.

THE KEY TO GROWING AA HAIR IS MOISTURE, MOISTURE, MOISTURE, STRENGTH AND STAYING AWAY FROM HEAT/CHEMICALS

Good luck and HAPPY GROWING!What is the best hair growth product for African American hair?
