What the best treatment for african american hair (to restore it and keep the hair strong)?

My hair is very weak and i need something to make it stronger. Whats the best shampoo and conditioner? I used to use Paul Mitchell. Is that fine? I would also like a moisturize that will help my hair to grow longer and faster... any recommendations? What the best treatment for african american hair (to restore it and keep the hair strong)?
Paul Mitchell is actually a good choice; however, it is not all natural and as a stylist, I have found that natural products work better on african american hair. Why? Because black hair needs a lot of moisture to stay strong and grow, it does not produce natural oils like many other hair types. Any hair care products packed with natural oils will make your hair thrive. The best all natural products, that also make African American hair grow fast are Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion hair growth products. They have great oils like shea, jojoba, sunflower, avocado, and emu. I would also recommend Carol's daughter's hair milk.

Also, do the following things:

1) Limit heat styling to once a week

2) Limit hair coloring

3) Try to relax no more than every 6-8 weeks

4) Do not trim your hair unless it is ravaged...get rid of your cut happy stylist. Dominican stylists are supportive of growing african american hair

5)Eat lean protein, such as soy, fish, turkey, egg whites, and chicken

6) Take a B Complex VitaminWhat the best treatment for african american hair (to restore it and keep the hair strong)?
i am a black british lady. i would recommend african pride shampoo and leave in conditioner, then i use top brass to moisturise my hair. they have both strenghtened my hair.but for growing my hair,i put in extentions for a while.
You need to go to the root of the problem and find out why your hair is weak. Shampoos and conditioners are temporary. Once you find out why your hair is weak only then will it begin to grow longer and get stronger.
Sometimes I use Silky Elements. You can buy it from Sally Beauty Supply.
my hair use to be weak but i've been using dudley's hair care products and i've seen a major difference.

i use the shampoo, conditioner and it's another product like special something for you roots.
Coconut oil
Thats a heartache to hear about ur hair ma

what I would do in a situation like that

is wash it only twice a week with a deep intensive mosturizing conditioner [such as Pantene, Dark n Lovely, or L'oreal products]

change your pillow case to silk or satin covers, or wrap your hair in s silk cap at night if you feel your room is too hot or dry [tends to be if no air is circulating] have a small bowl of water by your bed head. Water will evaptorate, and cause less brittle damage to your hair at nights [however you dont have to wear the cap/pillow case and do the water trick at the same time]

your food intake is also important: PROTEINS and GREENS help promote hair growth eg..Whole wheat bread eggs fish fresh fruits creal etc... DO NOT ADD HEAIR GREASE TO YOUR SCALP! that just slows down you hair growth, only to scalp when dry you can use dr.miracles gro oil its very good. This isnt a over night remedy.. just keep doing em steps and you'll see improvements

Don be afraid to ask me any further questions
