What are the best moisturizers for African American Hair?

Ok so i'm in the process of transitioning from relaxed to natural and I would like to know what are the best moisturizers for my hair to do this? I know not to use anything with petroleum and mineral oil.

Ladies (those who've gone natural in particular) what do you suggest i use as a daily moisturizer? What are the best moisturizers for African American Hair?

EGGS!! it is a very good source of protein and when you wash it out it leaves your hair shiny and soft. But make sure you was the eggs out with cold water, if hot you would have scrambled eggs in your hair. The eggs will also grow your hair.

Mix a whole egg with some of your favorite conditioner and leave it in your hair for about a hour or longer, wash it out and you will feel softer and see shinier hair!!
