Did you ever think about getting a Titanium iron? High quality titanium can get ethnic hair seriously straight no joke. I use the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium iron and I am in love with it. I am not of African American descent, but I have the same problem. I discovered this iron a couple months ago and I would never use anything else. I tried checking them out at Sally's but they didn't have that big of a selection. You should try Folica.com..they have a whole line of Babyliss irons at a pretty decent price...if you happen to catch a promo, even better


I use the Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum...Serums are good for smoothing flyaways...you just have to get one not too thick...that stuff is JUST the right texture...really lightweight
