What is the best way to scrunch african american hair?

My hair is relaxed and i want to know is there any way that i can scrunch it to make it look like it does when its wet without giving it a greasy appearance.What is the best way to scrunch african american hair?
hey there. i have been thinking about trying to scrunch my hair for a while, but have not yet tried it. however, i have seen my friends do it, and they use dr miracles wrapping and setting lotion. (its a liquid.) and they use it mixed together with pump it up hair spray. (non aerosol bottle). i think they use a 50/50 combination. u can adjust it as u see fit. but they towel blot their hair after washing it and work it in from root to tips. one of them does use a blow dryer on cool temp to dry it faster, but not with a brush or comb or anything, just for drying. if not a blow dryer, try the large setting stations they have in the beauty salons. hope this helps! :)
