How long does african american hair have to be to get 2 strand twist?

Im a 13 year old black male trying to grow out my hair.

How many inches does it actually have to be for me to even get anything done with it?

|does washing your hair with eggs and honey really help hair growth go faster? How long does african american hair have to be to get 2 strand twist?
|This is a really hard question to answer since there are so many variables. So the best we can give you is ';it depends';.

To make the 2-strand twist, you need to have hair that is long enough to get into the twist. So if you have short hair, you can make the twist, but they will tend to be very narrow... the hair needs to be long enough to reach it. If you have longer hair, of course, it can travel a longer distance, so you can get wider and therefore thicker twists. Either of these will work, it all depends on what you want. If you really want these now, you may have to start with narrow ones, and gradually work your way up to wider ones.

Of course, any shorter hairs will tend to come out easily, so you may find yourself having to re-do them more often. And that's alright too.

You can also supplement with a few false hairs, just to make them more substantial and hold together somewhat better. That is an option as well.

But I'm sorry to say that there is nothing on earth that will make your hair grow any faster than it does now, as long as you are in good health. It is obvious that hair grows under the skin and gets pushed to the surface. Nothing on the outside can do anything to affect growth. The kind of hair you have has been programmed before you were born -- as long as you are in great health, it will grow according to plan. The best place for the egg and honey (along with some milk) would be in an eggnog, and you can get it to the hair -- from the inside!
