What are the consequences of using manic panic on african American hair?

I want to dye my hair with manic panic: plum passion and black and blue.this is my first time to use it,will it change my original hair color or something. Will my original hair be damaged? help plz. What are the consequences of using manic panic on african American hair?
It won't be damaged w hatsoever. Manic panic does NOT damage your hair.

The reason why people say that dying your hair strange colours is damaging is because usually, to get a bright colour, you need to bleach it first, and bleach is EXTREMELY damaging to your hair. The damage actually helps the colour hold better too, so bleaching has many benefits and many downsides.

If you want to use wild colours on your hair, understand that if your hair has not been bleached and is just natural black, the colours will BARELY show up. It will probably only show up under the sun, then you'll see the dyed colour reflective, depending how dark your hair is. If it's completely black and not damaged, it is barely going to show up.What are the consequences of using manic panic on african American hair?
you will be fine.

go to the website manicpanic.com

then on the top left hand theres products

then you will see categories when you click on that link

click on the hair dye section and then click on the hair dyes individually the color desired

you will see people have used the hair dyes and have tips on how to use them and some of those people are african americans

your hair wont be damaged bc its semi-permanent.which means it will wash out in a certain amount of washes
don't call blacks 'african americans' until they start calling whites 'european americans'.
manic panic is actually a really bad brand for hair colouring.

i would suggest provana
No, your hair will be fine :)
